Short-term work permit

A short-term work permit is designed for foreign nationals intended to work for six (6) months or more. A short-term work permit is valid for a maximum period of a year and is non-renewable. In addition to a short-term work permit, applicants must apply for an entry-exit visa that is valid for seven (7) months after the first use.

Allows you to lawfully work

Valid for up to 12 months

It is non-renewable

An additional exit-entry visa is required

A valid entry visa to the DRC
Medical certificate
A DRC residence certificate
A DRC police clearance certificate no more than 3 months old
