ORDINARY VISA
An ordinary visa is issued to foreigners entering the Democratic Republic of Congo for tourism, sightseeing, to visit family and friends, and for business-related purposes. For the application process, it is required to first obtain a letter of invitation from the host company or individual. This letter of invitation must be endorsed by the DRC Migration Authority prior to submission to a Congolese embassy or consulate abroad. An ordinary visa can be issued with single or multiple entries with a validity of up to 180 days. However, the maximum duration of stay for each stay is 30 days.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
The following quintessential documents must be submitted interalia with the application
- A letter of invitation stamped by a public notary, the head of the municipality of residence of the inviting person/entity, a service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the DRC Migration Authority
- Proof of intent to depart the country
- Proof of sufficient funds for the duration of stay
- Proof of accommodation
- Yellow fever vaccination certificate
